- 10:19McFadden picks Chicago; Douzable and Prisco choose Seattle.
CBS Sports puts the Bears' motion-heavy offense under the microscope, and Pete Prisco finds plenty to admire. Chicago's running game, designed by Ben Johnson, is full of shifting formations and misdirection. Prisco praises it, then picks Seattle anyway.
That tension gives the channel's Bears-Seahawks preview something more interesting than a round of predictions. Leger Douzable explains how Mike Macdonald's defense can adapt against the run, while Bryant McFadden argues that Caleb Williams will need patience rather than forced throws. The question is whether Chicago can keep its balance when Seattle starts taking options away.
The preview drew nearly 180,000 views in nine hours, already far beyond the channel's usual full-day audience for regular videos. Its comment section also passed the usual first-day total, with viewers discussing Williams against two-high safety coverage, Seattle's crowd noise and the Bears' secondary.
There are new faces to account for, too. The panel examines Jeffery Simmons joining Chicago's defensive front and Quenton Nelson arriving on Seattle's offensive line. McFadden boils Simmons' assignment down neatly: "Jeffery Simmons' job is simple: tackle the running back on the way to the quarterback."
Another CBS Sports upload examining the playoff picture also drew an unusually large audience, with Buffalo and San Francisco presented as the top seeds. Here, though, the panel finishes with a split: McFadden chooses Chicago's balanced attack, while Douzable and Prisco trust Seattle.

What viewers say
Two high shell shouldn't be that big of an issue for Caleb if he continues what he's been doing. He's not forcing the ball down field this season and working within the system.

The Bears' offense is too good to be rendered completely ineffective by Seattle. However, Seattle's D is going to win some of those battles. I think the real problem for the Bears is their secondary, it's a glaring weakness that JSN will exploit over and over again. They might bottle him up for a quarter with a good scheme but that won't be enough, he has a counter for every tactic.
