Hair, mouth or jaw? Howard Lee's 'Who is this?' viewers debate the giveaway
The answer is settled as Tom Holland, so the comments now argue over the exact stroke that gave him away, while an older short from the same series wakes up too.
Why this story? The video is running at 304,819 views a day, 17 times its usual pace (18,385).

More than half of the views on Howard Lee's "Who is this?" short came in a single day, sixteen days after it went up. It is now close to half a million, and the comments arrived even faster: more than 4,000 since yesterday.
The game is simple. Lee builds a face in pencil, one feature at a time, and leaves the name out. The answer is no longer much of a mystery. Most viewers agree it is Tom Holland. The real contest is over who got there first and from which line. The most liked replies split viewers into teams: those who knew from the hair and those who knew from the mouth. Others name the lips, the jaw, or a moment around 58 seconds. A few admit to wrong turns along the way: Ryan Reynolds after the ears, Adam Sandler for no reason they can explain, Iron Man until the jaw went in.
Holland is familiar ground here. Lee's August hairstyle short tagged with the actor is close to 15 million views. An earlier "Who is this?" from July, already past three million, is climbing again today. Between them, the channel's daily views are running at more than twice their usual level.
It is a lighter form for an artist whose channel is built on hyperrealist drawings and photorealist illusions in Prismacolor, Copic marker and pastel pencil. His newest short stays in the Marvel world: Wolverine, drawn in his video game version.
