Rick Shiels has tested this strange-looking putter before. Big John's decisive Internet Invitational putt gives him a reason to ask whether he missed something the first time.
In "This Putter Just Became FAMOUS…", footage revisits the playoff putt that defeated Shiels and Roger Steele, before the Reaper Scythe gets another studio examination. Its defining oddity is immediately visible: the shaft enters at the toe, making a right-handed putter look as though it belongs the other way round.
The appearance takes some adjusting to. The roll is another matter. "On this perfect putting surface, the roll was phenomenal," Shiels says in his verdict. His ladder drill ends with an agonising lip-out on the longest attempt. Viewers discuss that near-miss, suggest using Big John's raised-putter celebration in the company's marketing, and debate how much credit belongs to the player rather than the equipment.
The review is the most-watched of five new uploads, reaching roughly 238,000 views. Elsewhere, Guy compares a Temu driver with a genuine TaylorMade Qi35 in "I Bought A Fake TaylorMade Driver from TEMU!", testing looks, feel and performance. Tees billed as a remedy for slicing and a Scotty Cameron tour-truck visit round out the equipment mix.
Across H.I.T GOLF, daily views are comfortably above their usual level, while subscribers grew modestly over the week. Weightlifting House also had a substantial week among nearby sports channels; GOLF LIFE's daily viewing is quieter than usual.
The Scythe review carries the strongest momentum now, with October's winter-golf Short also continuing to draw viewers.

That last putt was close enough I’d call that in.
@chr970See it on YouTubeThey should have their marketing department use that photo of John raising the putter in the air after the huge putt...so iconic.
@Sjoerty30See it on YouTubeI almost bought one the other day and talked myself out of it. I just want it for the novelty of it

I have a version of this "wrong shafted" putter from 1997. Used it for almost for 10 years
@stephenheggie4573See it on YouTubeRick, One thing we have to factor in here is you are just becoming a much better putter!
@derrickcalcote3808See it on YouTubeNo putter is the "magic wand" per se. It is up the person using it. I thought I needed to get fit for a putter. After a pro lesson it was my set up and stroke. Saved me money. Let's not all go jump on the wagon because one guy hit a great putt. Congrats Big John....it was a helluva putt. But it was you. Not the stick.
@MoyockScorpionSee it on YouTubeI was curious if you were going to review the new one or talk about this and it's cool that you are
