Other people's grocery carts, under Christine's calculator at Frugal Fit Mom
Her one new video walks through other shoppers' hauls, from a $100 Walmart run to convenience foods, and passed 150,000 views in five days.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
I Can't Believe What People Are Paying for Groceries
"I Can't Believe What People Are Paying for Groceries" is the only new video on Frugal Fit Mom this week, and it indulges a habit most shoppers will admit to: peeking into someone else's cart. Christine works through other people's grocery hauls chapter by chapter, from a $100 Walmart run to luxury items and the hidden cost of convenience foods. She closes on a pantry cleanout that, by her own billing, hit a hiccup.
It opened with more than 80,000 views on its first day and has kept going since. The comment section has become a kitchen table of its own. Plenty of viewers single out the first shopper in the video as the one who actually cooks. A long thread worries about people who no longer know what to do with dried beans. Others make a gentle case for paper plates when washing up costs energy they do not have, and one viewer offers a pronunciation lesson on Capri Sun.
The new upload has company. A September video about one ten-minute grocery habit, built around loss leaders, is still finding a few thousand viewers a day, and her 90-day update on not buying groceries keeps drawing a few more.
Together they lifted the channel above its usual daily pace, while subscribers barely moved. That contrast shows up across her money and business neighbors too: nearly all of them, from Morning Brew to Rachel Cruze, are running below their usual levels, and Roberto Blake is the other exception. A pantry and a calculator, it turns out, travel well.

What viewers say
My friends have often said " some people collect dolls and some people collect trains but Janet collects food". So im with you-- i too have problems. But if i get snowed in or have a tight month( or 6 or 8) my " collection" will taste a lot better than those dolls or trains!

Made teriyaki sauce for dinner last night, when I normally would've used a bottle from the store. And what do you know- tasted so much better.@Mrs.TrashmanSee it on YouTube
