Droids, recruits and squad makeovers in EA Star Wars' archive

Zero Company's gameplay trailer pairs tactical combat with customization, while the channel goes another week without a new upload.

An astromech or a Jedi? EA Star Wars' busiest archive upload makes squad-building part of the attraction, with recruitment scenes, weapon modifications and armor options sharing space with firefights.

"Star Wars Zero Company | Official Gameplay Trailer" moves from clone troopers deploying out of a gunship to turn-based combat, then pulls back to a strategic mission map. Units use abilities including Impact Bomb and Shockwave, while the customization menus offer different species and appearances. This is EA's promotional trailer for its single-player tactics game, set near the end of the Clone Wars.

There were no new uploads this week. The gameplay trailer remains the channel's strongest daily draw, with about 1.7 million views in total, followed by Zero Company's final trailer. A Galaxy of Heroes Short featuring Mara Jade Skywalker, Jaxxon and Darth Jar Jar adds a different corner of the galaxy to the mix.

Across the channel, the archive brought in roughly 200,000 views over the week, while subscribers stayed unchanged. Daily viewing is currently well below its usual level. Nearby publisher channels had a mixed week: Warhammer gained subscribers and a much larger weekly audience, while HALO's daily viewing was above its norm.

EA Star Wars also has a considerable history behind these squad tactics: its most-watched regular upload remains the 2015 Battlefront demonstration of Walker Assault on Hoth, a very different scale of battlefield.
