The launch trailer introduces urban battlegrounds and a barrel-dropping drone, while commenters pick out "Haegeum" on the soundtrack.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 4,807,090 views a day, 120 times a normal first day on this channel (40,239).
Call of Duty: Warzone | Hajin Conflict | Launch Trailer
A remote-controlled drone carries an explosive barrel over an enemy position and lets it fall. It is one of the gadgets in Call of Duty's Hajin Conflict launch trailer, but much of the conversation underneath is about the music rather than the weapons.
Several viewers identify the soundtrack as Agust D's "Haegeum," with some explicitly saying the song brought them to the video. Agust D is the solo recording name of BTS member Suga. Elsewhere in the comments, players draw comparisons with the Modern Warfare-era Warzone and discuss the return of that style.
The trailer reached about 3.3 million views in its first 12 hours, far beyond the channel's usual start for uploads of this length. Its comment section was also already several times busier than a typical full first day.
This is a promotional trailer for Warzone's Hajin Conflict update. Its game-engine footage moves from fighting around a passenger train to parachute drops, rooftop engagements and vehicle chases through rain-soaked streets. Alongside the city of Hajin, it introduces the ZODIAC DRC weapons-manufacturing facility as another combat setting.
The Grabber Drone gets its own on-screen introduction before the trailer closes with the update's November 6 launch date.
