Eddie Ball bought the Challenger in high school and later sold its engine to Troy McCool. Years later, Troy's son Dylan is filling the empty engine bay, giving this rescue a connection that stretches beyond another forgotten muscle car.

Dylan McCool posted nothing new this week, but "1972 Dodge Challenger Had NO ENGINE for 25 YEARS! Can We Drive It Home?" is doing much of the work. Released just outside the week's upload window, it has reached roughly 152,000 views and is the channel's busiest video right now.

Ball joins Troy to revisit the Dodge's history before Dylan and his friend Brier get into the mechanical work. The replacement is a 360 engine previously used in Dylan's Dart/Swinger, a familiar unit he says he trusts to take him wherever he needs to go. Getting it into place means removing old mounts and headers, preparing the flexplate and torque converter seal, then carefully lowering it into the bay. The episode includes a sponsored workshop-equipment segment.

The Plymouth station wagon revival and the seized big-block Dart are also drawing viewers, though neither is moving at the Challenger's daily pace. Across the catalogue, the channel added roughly 216,000 views this week. Subscribers held steady, while daily viewing is a little above its usual level.

Among nearby motoring channels, Pushing Pistons had a particularly busy week and Top Dead Center also drew substantial viewing. McCool's week was smaller and focused on a very specific kind of progress: putting an engine where there hadn't been one for decades.
