Sports TV has crossed a billion lifetime views. It got there on a day when a junior women's match did far more of the work than anyone might have guessed.
The upload was the full live stream of Match 4 of the Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka Women's U19 Tri-Nation T20 Series, with Pakistan's and Bangladesh's under-19 sides meeting at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad. A new video here usually ends its first day with a few thousand views. This one passed 180,000 in 18 hours. The same match came back in a second-innings highlights package, which drew a crowd several times the channel's norm on its own.
Pakistan against Sri Lanka filled the rest of the day. The channel posted full highlights of the 2025 Tri-Series final, and a replay of Pakistan's 36-run win in the third T20I of 2017. That game, played in Lahore, brought Sri Lanka back to Pakistan for the first time in years. An archive clip of a young Inzamam-ul-Haq's second ODI century, made in Rawalpindi in 1992, joined them.
The channel is run by Dot Republic Media and mostly carries Pakistani domestic cricket, internationals and old footage. Domestic days from the President's Trophy went up the same day and stayed quiet. The under-19 women were the ones who drew the crowd.

Inzamam-ul-Haq, who appears in the channel's archive clip, helped Pakistan win the Cricket World Cup in which year?
Pakistan, captained by Imran Khan, beat England in the 1992 World Cup final in Melbourne, and Inzamam's semi-final innings against New Zealand was one of the turning points of that run.
