Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

They put a spell on you and suddenly, you've rewatched this clip 14 times.

Max is trying to warn his parents, but they're too busy enjoying the show. Disney Plus's most-watched new upload returns to the Hocus Pocus party where the Sanderson sisters turn a musical number into a spell, and the adults mistake mortal danger for excellent entertainment.

Bette Midler's Winifred takes the stage, with Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as her witch sisters. Max finds his parents dancing in vampire costumes; his father compliments the performance while Max urges them to cover their ears. It's a neatly chosen Halloween excerpt: the children understand the emergency, and the grown-ups would quite like a camera.

All three uploads arrived on Halloween. Alongside "They put a spell on you and suddenly, you've rewatched this clip 14 times." came "So maybe Peter Parker *wasn't* ready for this spell." from Spider-Man: No Way Home and "Requirements to join the coven: must know how to harmonize." from Agatha All Along. These are film and television excerpts promoting Disney's streaming catalog, rather than new standalone stories.

The Hocus Pocus clip has the most momentum right now, followed by Agatha and then Peter Parker. The audiences are modest so far, with each upload drawing a few thousand views.

Across the wider catalog, Disney Plus added about 1.2 million views over the week, close to CBS and VICE TV, while Paramount Plus had a much larger week. Subscribers held steady at 2.2 million, and daily viewing is running somewhat below its usual pace. For this week's new arrivals, though, the connecting thread couldn't be clearer: spells, with harmonies optional.
