Billie Doe needs to learn control, and her mother has some explaining to do. In "Hexed | Tickets On Sale," the teenage witch discovers that Alice has magical abilities of her own, revealed when their reunion turns into a confrontation with the authorities.

That trailer was Walt Disney Animation Studios' most watched new upload of the week, approaching 100,000 views. It's a theatrical promotion, pairing the mother-daughter adventure with Walton Goggins's three-eyed cat, Beef Roger Crummchuk, and Jodie Foster's power-protecting Queen Celeste. Viewers are discussing the purple-clad witch guards and hoping they get personalities and dialogue, rather than simply filling out the queen's entourage.

Music supplies the week's fresh angle. "Disney's Hexed | 'Magic' by Hailee Steinfeld" spotlights a song performed by Billie's voice actor, while "Hexed | Wicked Fun" features KATSEYE's "Animal." The latter is currently the channel's fastest-moving upload, with the earlier official trailer also remaining among its busiest videos. Shorter promotions give Beef, Billie's unusual powers and the magical journey their own turns in the spotlight.

Across the catalog, the channel added roughly 1.9 million views over seven days, with subscribers unchanged. Daily viewing is a little below its usual pace. That softer daily rhythm also extends to nearby studio channels including Pixar and Disney, while Warner Bros. Entertainment and Paramount Pictures had substantially larger weekly viewing totals. Here, the entire new-upload lineup belongs to Hexed, from its uneasy family alliance to its two very different musical selections.

I just hope they aren’t relegated to being mere extras who do nothing but hang around the main villain; I’d love for them to have some actual charisma—or, at the very least, some lines of dialogue.
