What did Danielle Kirsty bring to the makeup chair this time? One case, and a dark one. Her only upload of the week follows two adult content creators who, as the title puts it, talked about a violent act before carrying it out. It went up on September 28 in her usual format: a true crime story told while she does her makeup, the two passions her channel is built on.
It found its audience fast. Close to 200,000 people watched on the first day, and it has since passed 370,000. That carried the whole channel to nearly three times its usual daily views. Subscribers held steady at about 1.24 million.
The comments mostly stay with the people the crime left behind, above all a husband many viewers describe as a decent man caught up in someone else's choices. Several thank her for handling cases with respect. A lighter thread runs alongside: regulars have noticed how often she says "What the actual hell?!" and suggest it belongs on merch.
Older cases are still finding viewers too. The "Party Mom" story from early September has passed 700,000 views, and the "Supreme Alpha Male" influencer case is closing in on 600,000.
Among true crime channels of her size, the big weeks belong to Matthew Cox, Beyond Evil and Willie D Live. With a single upload, Danielle's week was smaller in total, but for her own channel it was an unusually busy one.
