A Clancy holdout juror and the Clavicular charges: Bruce Rivers' two cases
The Massachusetts criminal lawyer spent his week on a deadlocked jury in Plymouth and a Cape Cod complaint headed for an October 14 arraignment.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Criminal Lawyer Reacts to the 11-1 Split in the Lindsay Clancy Trial
Thirteen hours after it went up, Bruce Rivers' breakdown of the charges against Braden Peters, the looksmaxxing streamer known as Clavicular, had already passed 150,000 views. That made it the busiest video on the channel by a wide margin, ahead of everything else in his catalog right now.
The video walks through a Massachusetts criminal complaint filed in September over a May 2025 incident in Chatham: a rape charge, a charge of drugging a person, and one of procuring alcohol for someone under 21. Arraignment is set for October 14 in Orleans. As the description stresses, Peters has not been convicted, and Rivers spends most of the half hour explaining what each charge means and what it does not.
The week's other upload went back to the Lindsay Clancy trial, which ended in a mistrial. Rivers looks at the one juror who would not vote not guilty by reason of insanity, Michael Desronvil, setting what other jurors told reporters beside what Desronvil says himself: that he had no doubts. Close to 300,000 views later, the comment section has become a long conversation about how juries are supposed to work, with more than one viewer reaching for 12 Angry Men. Many also mention the photos of Rivers' late son Michael that now open each video.
Across the whole channel, daily views are running a little above usual. In the true crime and courts group, Matthew Cox, FilmRise True Crime and Beyond Evil are having especially big weeks, while Catching Killers sits close to its normal pace. Two uploads, two cases, both from Rivers' home state.
