Can Pottstown Scout Team Players GET A HIT Off a PRO Softball Pitcher? #shorts
Pottstown went national. CS99TV, which describes itself simply as a group of friends making baseball content, spent the week inside its own little league universe: two youth teams, the Pottstown Scout Team and Pottstown Natty, and everything that happens around them.
The week opened with the build-up to what a short called the first-ever Scout/Natty draft. Then came a challenge: a pro softball pitcher visited the 12u Scout Team's practice to see whether any of the young hitters could make contact, with free gloves promised to anyone who did. That short has passed 239,000 views. The biggest upload came last. In "We Brought 2 INSANE POTTSTOWN Teams To a NATIONAL TOURNAMENT, And This Happened..." the channel took both squads on the road, and it is the video viewers are reaching for most right now. A short of a Natty player's diving catch to win Game 1 followed, a small trailer from the same trip.
The library is helping too. A ten-day-old prank, "We Changed Our Player's Age To Their Jersey Number!", has passed 1.3 million views and is still drawing a steady crowd.
Overall, though, the channel is running at about a third of its usual daily views. It has company in that: The Baseball Bat Bros and Hayden Jones are also below their normal pace, while Quarterback Plug and Coach Schuman keep the busiest days among the sports creators nearest its size. For CS99TV, the tournament video is the one carrying the load.
