Among the network channels around its size, CBS Comedy had one of the calmer weeks. NBC, Channel 4.0 and Dexter Official were all running well above their usual pace, while CBS Comedy drew a little less than it normally does, close to 900,000 views over seven days, with its subscriber count holding steady.
Every new upload belonged to one family. Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage follows Georgie (Montana Jordan) and Mandy (Emily Osment) raising a young family in Texas, picking up where Young Sheldon left off. The most watched of the four is a short about a first kiss that, as the title admits, was paid for, though it still counted. Another teases Georgie for not checking expiration dates.
The longest piece is a look back at Georgie's feud with Fagenbacher, his competitor in the tire business, which turns personal once Fagenbacher starts dating Georgie's mom. Fans of the original show will know why that stings: Mary Cooper is not a woman her eldest son likes to share.
The newest short, "Ms Cooper! 😳," went up on October 2 and is already the channel's busiest video, drawing views several times faster than anything else here. A September clip of Georgie defending his wife's honor, past 140,000 views, is still finding a steady audience behind it.
