Booked, busy and still in New York: Brooke Miccio's latest city diary
With no new upload over the week, her 13-day-old NYC vlog about the highs and lows of a full calendar is the one viewers keep opening.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
WEEK IN MY LIFE in the CITY! booked + busy in NYC… highs and lows of life
No new uploads, steady shelf. Brooke Miccio took the week off from posting, so her NYC series carried the channel.
The series has a simple shape. Each entry is titled "WEEK IN MY LIFE in the CITY!" followed by whatever that week held, and the newest, "booked + busy in NYC… highs and lows of life," is the one doing most of the work. At 13 days old it is past 55,000 views and still gathers far more each day than the two before it.
Those earlier weeks had their own headlines. One brought the US Open, the news that a friend named Katy got engaged, and a needlepoint collection Brooke made with a friend, which went on sale in mid-September. The other, now the most watched of the three at around 71,000 views, was about finding balance in New York in your twenties.
Without a new episode, the channel moved more slowly than usual, at well under a third of its normal daily pace. Subscribers kept arriving all the same, about 2,000 over the seven days, which brings her to 456,000.
Among the vlog and daily-life channels nearest her in size, Girl Truck Routine had the big week, adding about 7,000 subscribers, and Mandy's iPhone ran above its usual pace. Most of the others, including Sophia and Cinzia and Monet McMichael, were also quieter than normal. Brooke sits second in that group by subscribers. For a channel built on weekly diaries, the latest diary is still being read.
