'I f***ed up and I'm sorry': Blame Truth pulls a video and explains why

The apology passed 110,000 views, and its comment section turned into a long thread about owning a mistake.

Blame Truth has been talking about Call of Duty since 2007, back when, as his about page tells it, he recorded Gears of War off a standard definition box that recorded off a VHS tape. On September 30 he posted something rarer than a rant: "I f***ed up and I'm sorry," a short apology for a video he had taken down.

The title doesn't spell out the mistake, but the comments fill in the outline. Many viewers mention a sponsorship, and one of the most liked admits they can't even remember which sponsor it was. Others describe opening the old video in a tab and finding it gone after a shower. The word that keeps coming back is accountability.

The same day brought a Modern Warfare 4 matchmaking video, built on leaks and a long chapter list on how skill-based matchmaking works. A newer upload, barely an hour old, mixes Activision hiring news, used PlayStation 5 prices and The Act Man in its title. The video with the most daily pull is two weeks old: his reaction to developer firings and cancellation reports.

The channel ran at less than half its usual daily pace, with the subscriber count flat at 538,000. Among shooter channels near its size, HisWattson and AussieAntics had the big weeks, and BennyCentral ran well above its own normal.

  • I had the previous video in a new tab and was going to watch after a shower then came back and it was unavailable; was really confused for a couple minutes there, then saw this. Always appreciate when someone can take accountability
