It is a different kind of family story from the Stephanie Mills interview excerpts that drew the week's largest new audience. Her conversation with Jason Lee about motherhood reached roughly 200,000 views and remains the channel's most active upload right now. A separate excerpt featuring her criticism of Clive Davis' handling of Whitney Houston's death follows it, with The Second Time Around next among the videos carrying the most daily momentum.

Across fifteen uploads, BET also made room for family reunions and arguments from Love & Hip Hop: Miami, plus a return to the Comic View stage. Rickey Smiley hosts that archive episode, with Rodman, Just June and Steve Brown supplying the stand-up. The throwback had only been online for part of a day, so its smaller audience is still an early chapter.

BET added subscribers over the week, while daily views across the channel are running at nearly three times their usual level. Netflix K-Content had a particularly busy week among nearby television channels; BET's own mix of interviews, reality television and full-length entertainment brought in about 5.7 million views.
