Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Chase Went MISSING In Gorilla Tag...

Among the let's-play channels near its size, Be Prepared sits in the busy middle, drawing far more daily views than RubberRoss or Thoelian but fewer than Slushy Noobz or 3FS. Like most of that group right now, it is running a little below its usual pace, with daily views down by about a third.

The three new videos all lean spooky. The trio, King, Cannon and Chase, as the channel's about text lists them in red, green and blue, opened the week with "Chase Went MISSING In Gorilla Tag...", which has passed 195,000 views and is the biggest of the three so far. Then came a costume turn: "I Scared My Friends As Cat In the Hat in VR", putting Dr. Seuss's striped-hat troublemaker into a prank on the others.

The newest is where the energy is. "We Survived Bon The Rabbit In Gorilla Tag..." sends the friends up against Bon, the blue animatronic rabbit from the indie horror game The Walten Files, and fourteen hours in it was already gathering views several times faster than its two older siblings. Gorilla Tag, the arm-swinging VR game where players run as legless apes, keeps turning out to be a good stage for a chase with a monster in it.
