Alan Becker and DJ Welch sat down with the results of the third annual Alan Becker Popularity Poll, the fan vote on the stick figures from his animations, and the answer to the title "And The Winner Is..." turns out to be The Chosen One. It was the one new video on Animators VS Games this week, and it took in about 80,000 views on its first day.
The comment section is busy redoing the ranking. Many viewers can't get past The Chosen One finishing above The Dark Lord after the events of Animation vs. Animator 13, and some recall that Alan expected his role in the series to cost him votes. Others cheer Purple's place near the top of the Color Gang, mourn King Orange slipping to tenth and celebrate Corn Dog Guy dropping to eleventh. This edition also listed each figure's favorite food, and that may be the most discussed part: viewers keep pointing out that The Chosen One and The Dark Lord both picked steak.
With no second upload, the channel's daily views ran well below their usual pace, and its subscriber count stayed put. Older reactions kept moving instead, led by the Beckerverse fan game "Animation VS YomiH 2: Hunted" and a session of reacting to viewers' own animations. Among animation channels of a similar size, SmashBits Animations and DevilArtemis are having big weeks, while JoCat and Aphmau Diaries are holding steady.
