Shadow and Rouge watch Shadow fight Mewtwo, in a jacket
Jesse Pinnick voices Shadow and BulmaBunny voices Rouge in the channel's one new video, a reaction to the Sonic vs. Pokémon DEATH BATTLE.

Shadow REACTS to Shadow VS Mewtwo DEATH BATTLE | Ft. Rouge
"Shadow REACTS to Shadow VS Mewtwo DEATH BATTLE | Ft. Rouge" is exactly the kind of mirror trick Tails and Sonic Pals enjoys: the Ultimate Life Form sits down with Rouge the Bat to watch an animated version of himself go up against Pokémon's psychic clone. The description promises the fight only, no analysis, and the cast list explains the voices: Jesse Pinnick as Shadow, and BulmaBunny, the voice behind Tails and most of the channel's girls, as Rouge.
It was the week's only upload, and it went up on September 26 with fresh PNGTuber art of the pair. That art drew attention of its own: commenters noticed the new designs and the jacket Shadow now wears, and the artist who drew them stopped by, delighted to see her work moving and talking. Another thread did the lore homework, pointing out how much Mewtwo's past mirrors Shadow's own, two lab-made beings who each lost the one human friend they had, and suggesting that the Maria flashbacks in the fight were Mewtwo sympathizing rather than taunting.
The new reaction is the channel's busiest video right now, ahead of a month-old Sonic Prime vs. DeviantArt episode in which Nine tries to steal Cosmo and Cream, and a ten-day-old Sonamy comic dub about Sonic bringing Amy flowers for her birthday. Overall the channel ran at roughly half its usual daily views, and the subscriber count held steady at 1.31 million.
Among animation channels of similar size, DevilArtemis and SmashBits Animations are having lively weeks, while Tails and Sonic Pals sits with JoCat among the calmer ones.
