A judge who didn't know 'reduction' returns Ali Siddiq to The Domino Effect Part 3

Five new clips went up between tour stops in Lubbock, Midland and a sold-out Dayton, with Europe on the calendar for November.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Among the stand-up channels closest to his size, Ali Siddiq sits comfortably in the upper middle. His channel draws a little over a million views a day, about level with Gianmarco Soresi, behind Jimmy Carr and Michael Blaustein, and well ahead of Russell Peters and Randy Feltface. Matteo Lane is the one having the lively week, running well above his usual pace. Siddiq is right on his.

He spent it going back to The Domino Effect, his story series. Two new cuts from Part 3 arrived. "That's Not Reduction" is summed up in its one-line description: a judge who did not know what the word meant. "Whoever Signs First" followed, and its description is mostly a tour update. Dayton is sold out, and only a few tickets are left for Evansville.

The other three clips are stand-alone stories, and the titles do the teasing. A father who would buy anything at the grocery store. A man who really did ask for his shoes. The newest, billed as one of the most embarrassing moments of his life, is the quickest starter on the channel, faster even than "Prison be kinda crazy," a two-week-old clip that has passed a million views and is still moving briskly. Prison has been the root of his storytelling since long before YouTube, so it fits that a prison clip is the one people keep sharing.

The grocery-store clip, a week old, is the steady one, now past 200,000 views. The road keeps going too: after the Midwest dates comes a run through Berlin, Copenhagen, Oslo and Zurich.
