A delivery worker arrives with a package and ends up fleeing a goat. It's one of the less predictable hazards in AFV Shorts' latest compilation, where doorbell and security cameras catch ordinary errands going abruptly sideways.

The opening is rather harder to miss: a red Volkswagen Beetle reverses through a wooden gate and into a backyard swimming pool. Elsewhere, snow slides from a roof onto a man below, and a woman looking at her phone steps backward into a hot tub. These cameras don't need someone to anticipate the mishap and press record.

The compilation's opening pace is far beyond the channel's usual start for a Short. Its comment section has also already grown much busier than a typical full first day. Viewers keep returning to the delivery footage, while others single out the unexpected goat and a separate grilling mishap involving burgers.

It isn't the channel's only fast-moving upload: a compilation of people falling through ceilings is also drawing an unusually large audience. Together, the two releases accompany a subscriber milestone for AFV Shorts, which has passed the quarter-million mark. The home-video institution's short-form outlet still has room for an old-fashioned backyard disaster, even when nobody is holding the camera.
