  1. 0:09The compilation introduces its escalating-fails theme over a dirt bike crash.
  2. 1:36A basketball trick attempt combines a trampoline with an unsuccessful shot.
  3. 3:22An adult takes a small ride-on tricycle down a lawn and falls off.
  4. 13:06Cats scatter through a sunroom, disrupting someone resting on the couch.

A snowboarder slips off a rail, a trampoline-assisted basketball attempt goes wrong, and eventually a sunroom erupts with panicking cats. America's Funniest Home Videos gives these familiar home-video mishaps an extra piece of presentation in its newest compilation: an on-screen intensity meter.

"THEY THOUGHT IT COULDN'T GET WORSE | Ultimate Funny Fails Compilation" has drawn about 90,000 views, the largest total among the week's new uploads. But the meter is getting almost as much discussion as the mishaps. Several commenters ask for it to go, while others thank the channel for what they describe as a reupload with an intrusive sound effect removed. It's a specific bit of audience feedback: let the clips supply their own commotion.

The channel posted fifteen uploads altogether. Elsewhere, the Shorts offer a lost-phone communication problem and a step someone really shouldn't have forgotten. "Overthinking is such a funny phenomenon" currently has the strongest daily momentum, with a hide-and-seek mishap and the newer "POV: You have negative 1,000,000 aura 😭 (Funny Videos Compilation)" also drawing attention.

Across the catalog, AFV added nearly 20 million views over seven days and continued gaining subscribers. Its current daily viewing is nevertheless well below its usual level. There's a different rhythm over at the separate AFV Shorts channel, where daily views are running well above normal.

For the main channel's compilation viewers, the request is less about turning up the intensity than turning down the extras.
