Trade Radio, every club at the microphone, and AFL's offseason in full swing

Seven uploads followed the opening days of the Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period, from Rowan Marshall and Zane Duursma to all eighteen clubs in one video.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

There is no football being played, and the AFL's channel is busier than ever with it. The season is over, the Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period has opened, and nearly everything posted over the week follows the deals rather than the games.

The backbone is a daily "What you missed from Trade Radio" roundup, each one a listen-back to the key moments of the day's broadcast. The October 2 edition was the week's most watched upload, with tags pointing at Jordan De Goey, Jack Viney and Collingwood, and a comment section that mostly wants two things: West Coast to go hard this period, and timestamps in the videos. The newest edition, from October 7, seems to have listened. It comes neatly chaptered, from Rowan Marshall and Sam Marshall to Nick Murray, Zane Duursma and a long stretch on Jordan Ridley, and it is the video moving fastest on the channel right now.

In between sat the most ambitious upload of the week: "All clubs speak at start of TRADE PERIOD", a club-by-club tour running over an hour, Adelaide first and the Western Bulldogs last. For a break from list management, there was a look back at "The 26 BEST MARKS of 2026", with Nick Watson, Liam Ryan and Kysaiah Pickett among the high flyers, and a short, silly clip of skills that "would be game-changing", which has quickly become the second-busiest video on the channel.

The week added about 2.6 million views and roughly a thousand subscribers. Among similar sports channels, only TNT Sports Cycling gathered more views, while Super Rugby Pacific, in its own offseason, ran quiet. On AFL, the offseason is the content, and Ridley's name is the one the latest roundup keeps returning to.
