Darts at the clock: 2 Big Lugs try a new sketch style
Adam and his mother Majella's newest short, 'She's too smart,' passed 200,000 views in a day and a half, and its comments are arguing about the format.

A new look, noticed. "She's too smart 🧠" went up on Saturday and is the busier of the two shorts 2 Big Lugs posted this week, past 200,000 views in about a day and a half. The joke turns on a game of darts aimed at a clock, and that clock line is the moment viewers keep repeating back. So is the ending: a lot of the comments are trying to work out how a pair of trousers got wet by the last shot.
The bigger conversation is about the shape of the thing. 2 Big Lugs usually trades in quick one-liners, and this one plays more like a staged sitcom scene, with someone new behind the camera, as one viewer spotted. Some commenters are openly puzzled by the change, others say they are happy to have more of it. Plenty of people also stop to say how good Majella looks.
The week's other short, "I'm getting old 👨🏻🦳," is back in the familiar one-liner mold and has settled into a gentler pace, close behind the sketch on total views but well behind it day to day. Together they pushed the channel to around double its usual daily views, though subscribers barely moved.
Among comedy channels of a similar size, 2 Big Lugs sat in the middle of the pack this week. Biggy Bailey and Rankexa had the loudest weeks by far, while Comic Relief and Tyler Warwick moved at a calmer pace.
