Batista's 'I Walk Alone,' first heard on Raw in 2005, returns on WWEMusic

A clip of the Animal's first entrance to his own theme sits beside an acoustic version and a new Joe Hendry music video.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Batista carried it. Of twelve uploads on WWE's official theme-song channel, the two that drew the biggest crowds both went up on September 25. One is a short titled "A legendary entrance theme was born," which has passed 700,000 views. The other is the clip it points toward: Batista walking out to "I Walk Alone" for the first time.

The description dates that moment to the May 30, 2005, edition of Raw. He had just left Evolution, the group he shared with Triple H, Ric Flair and Randy Orton, and he was already World Heavyweight Champion. The song became his signature, and two days later the channel followed up with an acoustic version billed as a hidden gem.

The rest of the week leaned toward the present. Joe Hendry, the singing wrestler whose crowds sing along to his own entrance, has an official music video for "If You Don't Love Joe Hendry," and it opened faster than anything else the channel posted that week except the Batista pair. Its description points to an album called "Beyond Belief," due October 5. Zilla Fatu got his own theme, "The Main One," and Bayley turned up in a short about a very relatable reaction.

The channel as a whole ran a little under half its usual daily views. Among the wrestling and combat sports channels close to it in size, Florid Miston was the only one busier than normal, while Steven Strangles People and Mighty kept their usual large audiences without passing their own typical pace.
