Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua • FULL PRESS CONFERENCE | Netflix Boxing
A fight more than a decade in the making finally has a stage, and a date. Seconds Out posted the full launch press conference for Tyson Fury against Anthony Joshua, set for December 11 in Cardiff and streaming on Netflix. Ten hours later it had passed 200,000 views. The channel's new videos usually draw under 9,000 on their first day.
The two have circled each other for years. A deal for a meeting in Saudi Arabia was announced in 2021, then fell apart when an arbitration ruling sent Fury into a third fight with Deontay Wilder. Cardiff is familiar ground for Joshua, who beat Carlos Takam and Joseph Parker at the Principality Stadium.
The description promises fireworks: the pair going back over their old sparring session and arguing about who got the better of it, Fury saying he plans to come forward and "blast" Joshua out, and a heated exchange with Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, over the negotiations and the billing. It also says the afternoon turned to respect. That second part is what many viewers write about. Several say it ran gentler than they expected, and many single out the minute's silence Joshua led for the late Ricky Hatton. A running joke asks where Dana White was.
The channel cut plenty from the same day, including a sparring dispute, Fury's knockout warning and a talk on how both reached the top. None of those clips has come close. On this occasion, people wanted the whole thing.
