Emergency crews respond to aircraft incident near Military Trail and 10th Avenue North

An official's loudspeaker cuts through the sirens: "How about you get away from the fire? Move away from the fire!" In eyewitness footage shared by WPBF 25 News, people stand along the roadside while black smoke rises from burning aircraft wreckage nearby.

The station says first responders, including Greenacres Fire Rescue, were dispatched to the intersection of Military Trail and 10th Avenue North in Palm Beach County on Sunday afternoon. Further details were pending from authorities.

Recorded from inside a vehicle, the clip shows flames consuming debris beside the road, with residential structures visible close to the scene. A sheriff's vehicle is parked nearby. Some bystanders watch or film, and later a person directs traffic as vehicles move slowly past the wreckage.

The footage documents the aftermath, not the aircraft's descent. It does not establish the cause or how many people were aboard.

The Short drew about 71,000 views in its first eight hours, far beyond the station's usual first-day audience for that format. Across WPBF 25 News, daily views were also running at roughly seven times their usual pace.
