Code Pink, an Iran war question and Sen. Kennedy walking off, on Jayar Jackson's Watchlist

Fifteen uploads went up in seven days, including Eric Schmitt's hearing on Jack Smith and a sober look at the Cornell case.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Sen. Kennedy BOLTS Over Simple QuestionSen. Kennedy BOLTS Over Simple Question

What gets Jayar Jackson's viewers clicking? This week it was a senator making a quick exit. In "Sen. Kennedy BOLTS Over Simple Question," the TYT host walks through a moment the description sums up plainly: activists from Code Pink asked Louisiana's John Kennedy what he thought of the Iran war, and he left. Kennedy is usually the senator with a quip for every microphone, which may be part of why a silent getaway drew a crowd.

The week's most watched upload went the other way in tone. "'Cornell 7' Member Gets CONFRONTED In Public" shows a woman confronting a man the video describes as one of the group of students in the Cornell University sexual assault case, and Jackson goes through it. It passed 60,000 views in well under two days, and the case kept returning in the channel's longer segments, under titles like "Cornell Case Got Worse" and "Not Just Cornell."

Around those two, the Watchlist ran its usual daily mix of fifteen uploads: Sen. Eric Schmitt's attack on former special counsel Jack Smith and right-wing media's efforts to rescue it, Trump on stage, and the full live shows stitched together from all of it. Those older clips have mostly gone quiet, while the Kennedy and Cornell videos carry nearly all of the channel's momentum.

That momentum shows. The channel is drawing close to twice its usual daily views, though its subscriber count held steady. Most of the political commentary channels around it are also running hot, DeFranco News Clips and Don Lemon among them, and of that group this channel added the fewest views over the week. Stephen A. Smith's channel is the one having a quieter stretch.
