"Good News And Bad News" starts with the part Vortrox wants to make clear: he is not dropping Sonic Wave. An injured playing finger has made the Geometry Dash level painful to attempt, so he is taking a temporary break.

The update was VortroxTwo's most-watched new upload of an eight-video week, reaching roughly 360,000 views. Alongside the pause came two concrete plans: attending Ludwig's Fast53 charity speedrunning event in Los Angeles, and releasing XtremeStep, the custom level for his Super Buffing series, in November. He says the level is three-quarters complete, then opens the editor to preview its design and gameplay.

For Fast53, his stated goal is to complete at least ten Extreme Demons during a marathon stream. The update includes a look through the levels he plans to practice and attempt.

Elsewhere, the week ranged from showing Gina frightening levels to celebrating the decorated version of Exasperation, which the description says arrived after nine years. "Is Deadlocked The BEST Level?" now draws the most daily views on the channel, followed by "THE HUMAN LIMIT GOT FINISHED!" The older "1 ATTEMPT ON EVERY TOP 1..." also remains among its busiest uploads.

VortroxTwo added roughly 4,000 subscribers across the week, while daily viewing sits a little above its usual pace. It collected the largest weekly view gain among the nearby gaming channels; Cam2r Gaming had the larger subscriber increase. For Vortrox's own projects, the clearest glimpse of progress is in the editor: XtremeStep has a playable preview, even while Sonic Wave waits.
