"I have never played this game before, like ever," theRadBrad says as he begins the Ocarina of Time remake. He never owned a Nintendo 64. For viewers who know every corner of Kokiri Forest, that makes this walkthrough something different: a familiar adventure with a genuinely unfamiliar guide.
The opening follows Link from a nightmare into the forest village, where Navi wakes him and Saria greets his newly acquired fairy companion. Brad gets his first lessons in targeting and backflips, checks the price of a Deku Shield and encounters Mido, who won't let him pass without a sword and shield. Even reaching the Great Deku Tree requires some preparation.
The comments are unusually busy, with roughly 1,200 arriving during the first day. Views were ordinary for one of his long uploads; the conversation wasn't.
Several viewers describe the remake's graphics as resembling what they remember seeing as children, rather than what the original actually displayed. Others recall watching siblings play, or say they're a little jealous that Brad gets to discover the game without knowing what comes next. There are also repeated expressions of surprise at seeing Nintendo on his channel, alongside requests for a future Breath of the Wild playthrough.
Brad does bring a Nintendo favorite of his own: Super Mario World. Here, though, he's starting with the basics, collecting rupees and crawling through a stone tunnel in search of Link's first sword.

The unusual movement is in the comments, not the views. His opening Zelda walkthrough prompted five times the usual first-day discussion for his long videos and streams.
