Defeat an enemy, add it to the team. FNAF World Ultra turns combat into recruitment, giving AstralSpiff an increasingly crowded roster to explore and a self-imposed obligation: "Dem's the rules, we have to use everybody."

His upload, "Collecting ALL 300+ CHARACTERS in FNAF World ULTRA", drew roughly 460,000 views since yesterday. This is a fan-made expansion, not an official FNAF release, with extra storylines making room for characters drawn from the games, books, other fangames and obscure references.

The opening plan doesn't survive long. AstralSpiff experiments with a harder difficulty setting and considers a strict Nuzlocke-style run, then dies in an early boss encounter. He drops that restriction, restarts and turns the difficulty multiplier higher instead. Collecting everyone is enough of a commitment without making every loss permanent.

The interesting discovery is Quickswap, a move he uses to chain actions and manipulate party turns. "The concept of Quickswap is the strongest thing in FNAF World Ultra," he says. A damage meter helps him work out what his increasingly strange combinations can actually do.

Viewers have made the roster itself a game: several describe jumping to random points and finding shrimp, a bush, a cardboard box or an attacking tombstone. The surprise is less whether they'll recognize Freddy than what could possibly qualify as a teammate next.

AstralSpiff says collecting everything took around 15 hours. The edited showcase also preserves the less purposeful parts of that journey, including detours into researching a novelty sugar spoon, a salt fork and Minecraft Dungeons.
