An electronics plant supplying Russian defence systems was targeted by Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo missiles, according to The Sun's report. Night-time footage from Oryol shows flames and smoke rising above the skyline, with explosions audible as residents film from a distance.
The Sun identifies the facility as a producer of electronic components used in weapons including Iskander-M ballistic missiles and Pantsir-S1 air defence systems. Its report also includes footage from Saratov, where it says a Ukrainian drone attack struck an oil refinery. Bright flashes and a large industrial fire appear in the recordings.
The electronics facility adds a different target to the refinery strikes covered in the channel's earlier Frontline report: components for Russian weapons, rather than fuel production.
The video then moves from the strikes to diplomacy in Warsaw. EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas says European involvement is essential to any peace settlement, while Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stresses territorial integrity and Ukraine's ability to defend itself.
In the closing address, Volodymyr Zelenskyy says intelligence indicates Russia is preparing further strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities and bridges across the Dnipro River. He also reports successful interceptions of jet-powered Shahed drones and discusses plans for further Ukrainian long-range strikes inside Russia.
