- 0:30Yuri explains his father's Mustang wish and how he found the inline-six, three-speed coupe.
- 8:34The trunk holds original manuals, documentation and spare parts supplied by the previous owner.
- 12:08Starting the Mustang involves its auto-choke mechanism and time to warm the engine.
- 17:31Winding roads expose body roll, skinny tires and the demands of drum brakes.
- 22:48Jakub experiences the heavy manual steering, unassisted brakes and soft suspension from the driver's seat.
Jakub's birthday gift to Yuri comes with an unusual destination: Yuri's father. In "65 Ford Mustang Review," a handwritten certificate covering the car's cost accompanies the red coupe Yuri bought to fulfill his dad's longtime wish.
This isn't a fire-breathing V8 showpiece. It's an inline-six with a three-speed manual, a trunk full of manuals and spare parts, and an aftermarket cup holder attached with Velcro. The sponsored episode gives those small details room alongside the family occasion. When Jakub takes the wheel, heavy manual steering, unassisted brakes and soft suspension make the old-car experience rather more physical than a modern test drive. "This is amazing, but also terrifying," he says.
The Mustang was the most-watched of the channel's three new uploads, approaching 100,000 views. In the comments, viewers discuss the appeal of a well-kept, modest-spec classic, recall their own six-cylinder Mustangs and identify the little vent windows that modern cars have largely left behind.
The rest of the week's garage offered a considerable change of machinery. Jakub reviewed the V8-powered Grand Sport in "SWEET SPOT?! 2027 Corvette Grand Sport Review," while "RIP FOXBODY! 1989 IROC-Z Camaro Review" returned to an older Chevrolet. That Camaro upload is currently attracting views fastest on the channel, followed by the Corvette and October's BMW X5 review.
Across the channel, the week brought about 1.6 million views, while the subscriber count stayed unchanged. Daily viewing is running above its usual level. Among nearby motoring channels, Rich Rebuilds had a larger weekly audience and Gas Monkey Garage added subscribers; TheStraightPipes' own week found its most personal subject in a Mustang whose appeal had little to do with being top of the range.

Sometimes it makes it even cooler that it's not the top of the line. Just being well maintained and well cared for for many years makes it beautiful
