The Polestar powers up, but getting it moving isn't the end of Rich Benoit's repair list. A loud banging on the first test drive sends him and Joey back underneath the ex-rental EV, where they find a sheared upper mount on an Öhlins shock absorber. After briefly considering JB Weld, Rich installs a used replacement shock instead.

Rich Rebuilds posted no new videos this week, yet that October auction-car adventure remains its strongest daily draw. It has passed four million views and is adding views more than three times as quickly as either the Lucid repair story or September's Amazon Rivian van upload.

The Polestar episode has plenty of garage detours: an active toll transponder left in the glovebox, unnecessary plastic-trim removal while searching for a battery, and an audio-system label that sends Rich into an Airwolf and Air Bud tangent. It also includes a promotional segment visiting battery maker CATL's factory in China. Beneath the jokes, the repair involves a torn coolant hose, a missing high-voltage fuse plug and a failed coolant-control valve, before the suspension announces its own problem.

The channel added 10,000 subscribers over the week, although its current daily viewing is below its usual level. Among nearby motoring channels, WD Detailing had a particularly busy week, while VINwiki's daily viewing stayed close to normal.

Rich's older projects retain their own pull: the Lucid episode follows two broken luxury EVs and a service-mode deadline, while the Rivian van's problem is rather fundamental. Almost everything works except the part where it drives.
