Timothy Snyder, Ukraine and Mark Carney's Canada on The Prof G Pod
The historian behind On Tyranny joined Scott Galloway after a trip to Ukraine, in a week that also launched a new show from writer Jack Raines.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Timothy Snyder: Canada Still Wants America as a Friend
What did Scott Galloway's audience come for this week? Mostly a historian. Timothy Snyder, the Yale scholar best known for On Tyranny, sat down with Galloway after a trip to Ukraine, and the conversation runs from the front line to Taiwan, nuclear weapons and Canada. Snyder argues that Canada still wants America as a friend, and the chapter list asks what other leaders can learn from Mark Carney's rise. A short cut from the same talk, billed as Trump "sabotaging America's future on purpose," followed a day later.
Office Hours changed shape too. The description says the listener-question show now runs on Mondays only, with more questions per episode, and this one spans an overvalued market, a move from Sweden, selling a small business and life as an adjunct. The comments are busy with confessions: several viewers credit Galloway for admitting he sold out of the market and got it wrong, and one tells of buying in on election day 2016 for a reason that turned out to be the wrong one.
The Prof G universe also grew by one show. Writer and investor Jack Raines debuted with a look at Meta's free Muse AI agent and the so-called annoyance economy, with an investor's story of an AI agent getting him banned from Resy.
Nine uploads in all, and the views ran a little under the channel's usual pace. Even so, the channel added more views than most money and business channels of its size, behind Morning Brew and Reventure Consulting. The quickest starter right now is the newest: a short on hospitals that the description says would be called a cartel in any other industry.

The comments under "Scott Galloway: How to Invest in an Overvalued Market | Office Hours"
Came for the financial content and stayed for the refreshingly fun bluntness and humor. 😂
@squishonSee it on YouTubeI can appreciate that Scott was fully transparent about selling. Obviously, a terrible mistake. Appreciate the honesty.
