1:17Players write their greatest fears on nightmare cards and learn that they must collect six keys.
2:30The Gatekeeper appears on the television and begins issuing commands.
8:26Dan chooses Adam when the Gatekeeper offers him the chance to banish another player.
13:13Adam faces a prolonged staring contest under the Gatekeeper's instructions.
17:18The timed game's outcome arrives, followed by the players revealing their written nightmares.

Adam must not blink. The Gatekeeper has ordered a staring contest, and The Grumps' guest is stuck staring while Dan Avidan thanks him for coming on the show. "It's literal torture," Adam King replies.

The Viva La Dirt League guest joins Dan and Arin Hanson for Atmosfear, the horror board game that puts a VHS character in charge of the table. Adam remembers finding it terrifying as a child. Here, the players write down their greatest fears, try to collect keys and submit to interruptions from Wenanty Nosul's imperious Gatekeeper. Dan even gets the opportunity to banish Adam to the board's black hole.

"is THIS the scariest board game EVER? w/ @adamking" was the week's most-watched upload, approaching half a million views. It also supplies a very specific thread through the five-upload week: titles including "Thank u gatekeeper" and "STOP. GO! ANSWER ME!" keep the bossy VHS host in the picture.

Viewers are talking about Nosul's theatrical commitment, comparing the Gatekeeper to a character Arin might invent and remembering how extraordinary this kind of interaction felt in the VHS era. Several are imagining a Game Grumps-branded version.

Across the channel, the week brought just over two million views, with subscribers unchanged. Daily viewing is currently around half its usual level, though the Atmosfear episode remains the strongest daily draw. Beyond the Gatekeeper's jurisdiction, October's "Geoguessr but VIDEO GAMES🎮?" is also among the uploads continuing to bring in views.

I love when they find people perfect for the show, proven by Adam forgetting how to spell his own middle name
