"Should you avoid situationships? #shorts #tedx" is a short clip about modern dating on TEDx Talks. It is the busiest new thing on a channel that posted fifteen videos this week, and in eleven hours it had passed 7,000 views.

Much of the rest came from one place. TEDxSt Swithuns School sent over a batch of student talks, and the strongest is "Same sound, different worlds." It draws on the work of psychoacoustics researcher Diana Deutsch and illusions such as her Tritone Paradox to ask whether two people can hear the same melody and experience something different. Close behind is "Face value," on the snap judgments made about people with visible differences and the scarred villains of film. Then "Cashless - At what cost?" asks what privacy goes with the banknote, and "The Myth of the Orient" takes Edward Said's ideas from Shangri-La to colonial tourism.

From a school in Bangalore came Harshit Agrawal, an MIT Media Lab graduate, on how he came to make art with AI.

At 44.7 million subscribers, TEDx Talks is the largest of the education channels it is grouped with. CrashCourse, TED-Ed and TED are all running well above their usual pace, while Johnny Harris is quieter than normal.
