The Technical Difficulties tests a ketchup constipation story

"The goose isn't going to be happy!" | One Of These People Is Lying 2x03

Could ketchup have been a treatment for constipation? The Technical Difficulties has put that proposition alongside two equally specific questions: whether some fire extinguishers are non-vegan, and whether a T-shirt's first appearance on a British soap prompted complaints.

There is a lie to find among them. The latest episode, titled "The goose isn't going to be happy!" | One Of These People Is Lying 2x03, continues the group's game of sorting unlikely truth from invention.

It arrives as the channel draws about 100,000 views in a day, more than five times its usual daily pace. That is a channel-wide rise, rather than a figure for the goose episode alone.

The second series returned in October with a new kitchen and questions about Burton-on-Trent perfume and belief in the Gruffalo. Its latest selection takes the same pleasure in details that sound just a little too peculiar to trust. Lydia Mizon is credited as question producer, with Julie Hassett editing the episode: behind the guessing game, someone has to keep the truth straight.
