Christina wants to reconnect, but telling Lucy the truth makes a difficult family situation harder. In Coronation Street's most-watched new upload, a dropped keyring brings Lucy to Shuttleworth's funeral home, where Christina reveals her adoption history. By the end of the episode, Sally and Tim are demanding answers from Christina.

Amy Robbins plays Christina opposite Tony Maudsley's George, who offers reassurance early on. "I'm grieving the daughter that I never knew," Christina tells him. Elsewhere, Adam encourages Alya to step away from work and celebrate their engagement, giving the episode a happier gathering at the Rovers Return amid the family tension.

But the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday episodes all drew very similar first-day audiences, suggesting a fairly consistent appetite for the full instalments rather than a single exceptional episode.
