Country Roads brings Tom Jones and Cate together for The Voice UK final

That performance is the biggest draw among The Voice UK's new uploads, passing 310,000 views. Viewers are discussing how the two voices complement each other, with one noting that the pairing feels more like two established performers sharing a stage than a contestant singing with her coach.

Cate also has the channel's next most active upload with 'Blackbird' by The Beatles. Frank supplies a different sort of familiar favourite: '... Baby One More Time' by Britney Spears, a choice he brought to coaches Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones himself. The McFly pair also join him for Frankie Valli's 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You'. Elsewhere, Kelly Rowland and Monique perform Mary Mary's 'Shackles (Praise You)', while the coaches assemble for CHIC's 'I Want Your Love'. It is a final with room for folk, gospel, disco and turn-of-the-millennium pop.

Across the channel, daily viewing is more than twice its usual level, although the subscriber count stayed unchanged over the week. Taskmaster had a much larger week for total views among nearby entertainment-show channels; Love Island also drew more weekly views, but its daily viewing is currently a little below usual. For The Voice UK, the fresh momentum centres on the final, with Cate's duet, her solo and Frank's Britney choice its three most active videos.
