The compilation crosses between South African and American auditions, bringing together Lucky Xaba's repeat appearances, Renaldo Lapuz's elaborate Simon-themed outfit and Vhudi Mamphwe's "My Yoki Yoki." Despite the original-songs billing, it also includes Keitumetse Mogatusi performing Janis Joplin's "Mercedes Benz." In the comments, "My Yoki Yoki" is a recurring reference, with one viewer also considering whether another audition song would work better as a recording than a live performance.
