An orange in the trick-or-treat bag is where Stevie Knows draws the line. In "Halloween Be Like…", sweets and money give way to fruit, prompting a character to wonder whether he's being mistaken for a parrot. Viewers have their own contributions: one remembers receiving a pear, while others recognise the household tactic of switching off the lights and pretending nobody's home.

The sketch has reached about 670,000 views. Stevie plays the enthusiasts, the reluctant door-answerers and the supposedly fearless horror watchers himself. His cheapest costume idea is also the sharpest visual joke: a lampshade worn as the cost-of-living crisis.

It was part of a six-upload week that also brought "Michael Jackson - Thriller Parody" and another chaotic Halloween episode of Online School. That classroom world has considerable history here: the Parts 100-150 compilation has passed a million views and is the channel's most-watched regular upload.

School stayed on the timetable after the costumes, with "A little reminder for anyone sitting their mock exams…". But the newest football Short, "Caught this one sweet 😂⚽️ #footballshorts", currently has the quickest daily viewing of any upload, followed by the two Halloween sketches.

Subscribers grew over the week, although daily channel viewing is now well below its usual level. Among nearby sketch channels, Biggy Bailey had a particularly large week and Chad Tepper a much quieter one. Stevie Knows sits between those extremes, with Online School and a fresh football detour both contributing to the week's viewing.
