Her solo outing, "I Had A Day Off And Went For An Explore Of Beautiful Menorca!", was the most-watched of SteveMarsh's two uploads this week, reaching roughly 172,000 views. Filmed in September, it starts in Mahón, where she stops for coffee and an empanada before browsing the shops for souvenirs for Steven. Then comes a bus to Binibeca and a wander through its narrow pedestrian lanes, followed by a taxi to Cala Morell on the northern coast.

The comments make Alicja's presenting a subject in its own right. Viewers ask for more solo outings, mention her quietly delivered jokes about Steve and pick out the pair's unobtrusive approach to filming around people's homes. Others dwell on the old town and its small alleys, the sort of detail a day without a grand expedition can make room for.

The other new upload, "...in SWEDEN?!", has almost matched Menorca's total in less than a day and carries by far the most momentum now. Its Gothenburg challenge allows £200 per person for flights, two hotel nights, transfers, food, drinks, attractions, local transport and even a souvenir. That last little purchase has to survive quite a queue of necessities. The older Salem outing, "Happy Halloween From The Witch City!", also continues to collect views.

Nearby travel channel Suitcase Monkey is also enjoying a busier-than-usual daily audience. For SteveMarsh, the two new trips offer pleasingly different freedoms: Alicja can choose where her day off takes her; Gothenburg has to fit inside the budget.
