'Backcountry Camping on Dirtbikes' sends Spenser Wilton's channel climbing
The Cboys rider's newest trip into the bush passed 300,000 views in about two days, capping a fall of camping and enduro videos.
Why this story? The whole channel is running at 294,943 views a day, 13 times a normal day (22,312).
Among the motorbike and off-road channels close to his size, Spenser Wilton is the one climbing hardest against his own usual pace. Throttlehead is also having a big stretch, while Michael_titomc is running quieter than normal. For a channel of 118,000 subscribers, more than ten times its ordinary daily views is not part of the routine.
The likely engine is "Backcountry Camping on Dirtbikes," posted October 1 and already past 300,000 views. It is the third outdoor trip of his fall, after "Camping in the Rocky Mountains (BEAR COUNTRY)" in mid-September and "E-Bike Enduro Testing" a week later, and it caught up with both within two days.
Viewers who know him from the group channel will recognize the name in his tags: he is Spenny from Cboys, the Canadian off-road crew, and every description points back to CboysTV and the Life Wide Open podcast. On his own channel the riding is the main event.
The summer had a different flavor. In August, Cooper Webb was in Canada to race World Supercross and joined Spenny in the trees. The description notes they went easy on him before his race weekend, and that a supercross rider got around the woods without trouble.
