Snuff Cup's proud hunter meets a $400 processing bill
One actor plays both sides of a deer-drop-off sketch that has viewers swapping sausage orders and stories of learning to butcher their own.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 957,393 views a day, 14 times a normal first day on this channel (71,120).
Taking a Deer To The Meat Man
The hunter arrives bragging about his big buck, then starts ordering as though he's at a deli: jalapeño cheddar sausage, spicy jerky, separately packed loins and burgers with beef fat added. The man in overalls has a less elaborate response: the bill.
"Taking a Deer To The Meat Man" is a staged comedy sketch on Snuff Cup's channel, with a single actor playing both the truck-driving customer and the processor outside his shed. The hunter wants special treatment for his trophy. The processor doesn't seem particularly impressed by its size.
The Short passed half a million views in nine hours, a much faster start than the channel's usual Shorts. Its comment section was already roughly four times as busy as a typical full first day.
Much of that conversation moves beyond the joke to the work itself. Viewers describe learning to break down deer, passing the skill along and deciding which cuts to keep. One recalls being taught to process antelope by their dad; another describes ordering venison-and-pork sausage with Italian spices and red pepper flakes.
The sketch extends a run of hunting comedy on Snuff Cup, following "When A Monster Buck Goes Missing" and "The Farmer At Deer Camp." Here, the familiar country character isn't at camp anymore. He's at the shed, discovering that his very specific sausage order comes with a price.

Glad my dad taught me how to process antelope as a child
@DannyD-1995See it on YouTubeMe over here going to an Italian family owned meat processor getting venison and pork sausage blended with Italian spices and red peperflakes for that heat. 😂
@christopherbastas934See it on YouTubeI cheaped out years ago from a price quote that made my hair stand on end. Forced me to learn how to process my own. I thank my lucky stars I was a cheapskate. Knowing how to break down a carcass and cook venison is something I treasure. Its also the only reason my kids can do it too.
