Pro Footballers Decide My FC 27 Rating

John Nellis calls his videos football side quests, and the detours have become a sizeable attraction. His channel has reached 17 million subscribers after adding roughly 100,000 in a day, more than ten times his usual daily gain.

The newest upload, "Pro Footballers Decide My FC 27 Rating", puts Nellis on the receiving end of the assessment. It has become the most watched of his uploads from the past week, while October's "I Tested Footballer's Lungs" still has a larger total audience.

Those titles capture a particular Nellis habit: taking something familiar from football and turning it into an unusual assignment. A player rating becomes personal; a free match ticket becomes an experiment.

His back catalogue stretches that idea well beyond player encounters. His most-watched Short asks, "Can I Cook a Steak Inside a Football Stadium?" His leading regular video, "Kylian Mbappé Surprised His Biggest Fan", offers a different kind of access. Both belong to a channel whose interest in football rarely stops at the final whistle.
