The small pump won't do. Ellis, Ben and Alfie have hundreds of inflatable pink pigs to prepare, and that is only the first logistical problem in AwayDays' plan to bring a huge crowd to amateur football.
"I Surprised an Amateur Team With 1,000 Fans" takes the crew to the Wellesley in Great Yarmouth, where Great Yarmouth Town face Stowmarket before AC Mill Lane play Shrublands. Fallen trees and disrupted trains threaten the turnout. Then supporters gather in the car park, collect their pigs and march towards the ground together.
Between the crowd-building comes a reminder of what the visit means to the hosts. Bar manager Anne describes the difficulty of keeping a non-league club going, while chairman Martin hopes attendance can get over the thousand mark. By the first kick-off, the historic grandstand is packed. Ellis adds a personal incentive: if he doesn't score, his head gets shaved.
The upload has passed half a million views and is the channel's busiest video right now. It's a return to a format with history here: March's "I Surprised A Football Team With 1,000 Fans!" is AwayDays' most-watched regular upload. In the comments, viewers propose making these small-club visits an annual tradition, while one visitor describes travelling from California for their first trip outside the US.
AwayDays added subscribers this week, and daily viewing is running at nearly twice its usual level. Among nearby football creators, OzanB Goalkeeper has had a particularly large viewing week; angryginge13 and DannyAaronsMore had unchanged subscriber counts.
Away from the terraces, the four-upload week also brought "When Balotelli Met Maradona 😂" and two instalments of the £1-to-football-club project. Episodes 23 and 24 continue Ellis's rather different route into club ownership: trading football cards and reselling items to build the pot.

My hope is that just as the Sidemen have their annual charity match, that the AwayDays Pigs invade a small club every year. I look forward to joining in the future.
