Shubble hands her fate to Tyche, blindfold included

Pantheon SMP's opening chapter remains an archive draw during a week without new uploads.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Chosen By The Gods! | Pantheon SMP 1

Keeping the blindfold on is a choice. In "Chosen By The Gods! | Pantheon SMP 1", Shubble's character Shelby wakes as Tyche's champion and decides to navigate the Underworld without taking it off, relying on Scott's voice to find her way.

"I'm keeping it on because I was chosen by the god of fate, and I'm surrendering myself to that completely," she explains. It is a wonderfully inconvenient commitment for a Minecraft adventure that starts in underground tunnels. The fictional roleplay gives its resurrected champions divine powers, limited lives and a final prize: any wish they choose.

Shubble posted nothing new this week, but that opening episode remains her busiest video right now, with about 142,000 views in total. October's "Pantheon EXCEPT Shubble Has A GUN!" is drawing almost the same daily audience, while "The Pantheon Cast Play HIDE And SEEK!" rounds out the channel's most active trio. Divine responsibility and hide-and-seek make quite a pairing.

Across the archive, the week brought roughly 28,000 views, while subscribers held steady. Daily viewing is currently well below Shubble's usual level. Nearby Minecraft creator TheMythicalSausage, who also appears in the Pantheon opener, has had a busier viewing week without a subscriber increase either.

For anyone returning to the series' beginning, the journey eventually offers a less laborious way up a mountain: Zeus's champion transports Shelby and others by lightning strike. Surrendering to fate does occasionally come with transport.
