A student back from his mission finds approaching women more intimidating than proselytizing. Elsewhere on campus, couples explain why getting married before graduation feels perfectly ordinary. RocaNews's visit to Brigham Young University finds plenty of variation beneath the familiar "Ring By Spring" joke.
"Inside America's Youth Marriage Capital (BYU)" was the most watched of three new uploads, reaching about 600,000 views. BYU belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' educational system, and students describe how shared faith and family goals can make finding a compatible partner easier. The report also finds practical accommodations for student parents, including a children's play area in the library.
It doesn't stop at the wedding plans. Student journalist Kimball Call argues that abstinence expectations encourage early marriage and stability. Provo local Aaron Samudio describes the pressure to conform to an ideal family life. In the comments, viewers discuss the distinction between supporting young couples and making marriage feel compulsory; campus childcare gets attention of its own.
The week's other stops broaden the map. "Inside Texas' Strangest Town" visits Cut and Shoot, north of Houston, to hear residents discuss growth and local identity. It includes a sponsored segment for Vessi. "Inside America's Blackest City" takes the reporting to South Fulton, Georgia, with Mayor Carmalitha Gumbs among those interviewed.
Across the channel, weekly views approached three million while subscribers held steady. That was the largest weekly views gain among the nearby documentary and journalism channels here, although VICE Sports and The Atlantic are having particularly busy days relative to their usual viewing.
The BYU report carries the strongest daily momentum, followed by Cut and Shoot. RocaNews's older Michigan voter interviews are also drawing views as election coverage shares space with these close-up portraits of American communities.

What viewers say
Nobody should feel pressured to get married young but it’s nice that this school gives people support if they want to do that and if they have kids while being students
@amde8554See it on YouTubeEveryone interviewed seemed so open, articulate and full of purpose and goals.
@James01281See it on YouTubeYou chose really interesting people to talk with. And they all seemed very honest and transparent. I think if your beliefs make you a better person and positive member to society, I am all for it. I rather that than the latter. No pun intended
